18 The Trunk and the Branches/ El Tronco y los Pámpanos

Connected to Jesus (Part 1)

Suppose that this tree represents the CHURCH.

Now, the most important part of the church is the trunk. According to John 15, the trunk is the vine. That trunk or vine is JESUS. Jesus says, “I am the true vine – the true trunk.”

And then there are the branches. Those branches are the people found in the church.

Jesus says, “Remain in me, and I will remain in you.”

The branches CANNOT have life UNLESS they remain in Jesus. The branches CANNOT bear fruit UNLESS they have the Holy Spirit.

Are you a branch CONNECTED to Jesus? Are you producing the fruit of the Holy Spirit?

Conectados a Jesús (Parte 1)

Supongamos que este árbol representa la IGLESIA.

Ahora, la parte más importante de la iglesia es el tronco. Según Juan 15, el tronco es la vid. Ese tronco o vid es JESÚS. Jesús dice: "Yo soy la verdadera vid - el verdadero tronco".

Y luego están los pámpanos. Esos pámpanos son las personas que se encuentran en la iglesia.

Jesús dice: "Permanezcan en mí, y yo permaneceré en ustedes".

Los pámpanos NO PUEDEN tener vida A MENOS que permanezcan en Jesús. Los pámpanos NO PUEDEN dar fruto A MENOS que tengan el Espíritu Santo.
