God (Part 8)

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

– Genesis 1:1

Genesis 1–2 tells the story of God’s creation of the world. On the first day, God created light in the darkness. On the second, He created the sky. Dry land and plants were created on the third day. On the fourth day, God created the sun, the moon and the stars. Water and sky animals were made on the fifth day, and on the sixth day, land animals and people were created.

Many things have happened since the world was first created, including the entrance of sin into a perfect world. However, we can still enjoy the beauty of nature today and see the many wonders of God’s creation and how they reflect His glory.

Reflection: If we see so much beauty around us now, what was it like when God first created the PERFECT heavens and earth? And what will this heavens and earth be like when God restores – when he makes them NEW?

Creo en Dios CREADOR del Cielo y de la Tierra

Dios (Parte 8)

“En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra.” – Génesis 1:1

Génesis 1–2 cuenta la historia de la creación del mundo por parte de Dios. En el primer día, Dios creó la luz en la oscuridad. En el segundo, Él creó el cielo. La tierra seca y las plantas fueron creadas en el tercer día. En el cuarto día, Dios creó el sol, la luna y las estrellas. El quinto día se hicieron los animales del agua y del cielo, y el sexto día se crearon los animales de la tierra y las personas.

Han sucedido muchas cosas desde que se creó el mundo, incluida la entrada del pecado en un mundo perfecto. Sin embargo, todavía podemos disfrutar de la belleza de la naturaleza hoy y ver las muchas maravillas de la creación de Dios y cómo reflejan Su gloria.

Reflexión: Si vemos tanta belleza a nuestro alrededor ahora, ¿cómo era cuando Dios creó por primera vez los cielos y la tierra PERFECTOS? ¿Y cómo serán estos cielos y esta tierra cuando Dios los restaure, cuando los haga NUEVOS?
